It's been a year since I arrived here in Japan.I still feel the same loneliness I felt when I left the Philippines last year.Nothing changed much really, same things happen here everyday.Though I believe it's different back home, time travels like a speeding bullet. One day it's like this the next day that. The specifics of this and that don't really matter much, point is things happen there quite fast.

I don't wanna appear to be ungrateful with what I have because I assure you I am the type of person who counts his blessings.I have been thankful for the things that came my way for the past year.I have been very happy with the time spent with my wife, but(there's the significant but) who I am or we are right now (I and the wife)is/are not the ones who we hoped to be. If someone guts me to death right now God knows I'd be coming back as a ghost to finish my unfinished business. I don't even feel like I've started.SIGH!

I really feel like I have to do bigger things,I don't know how big exactly but I'm sure it's bigger that what we have going on right now.I want to start asap, the sooner the better.

But right now there is still a lot to settle right now and I am not sure how delayed my train would be to get me and my wife's life back on track. I sure hope I'd understand it in the future and hope others as well.

I just thought that reporting isn't so bad after all,so I gave it a shot.Trial reporting at the very least (hehe).I don't feel like I have it yet,but maybe someday the zest will come into my life and give reporting a whole new definition.

Have fun watching the video.

" Life's Mystery "

Life is full of mysteries. One can never tell which way to end up or how things will turn out.It is always something that is yet to unfold, something that all individuals wonder about.Often times we just find ourselves thinking about the future and daydreaming about what might befall us.We are sometimes glowing in hopefulness and wishful thinking, but most of the time we are wrapped in fear and trepidation. We panic because of insecurity and uncertainty. We find ourselves blaming other people for what frets us.We often point our fingers to the people we want to blame and the circumstances we like to hold responsible for our misfortunes. It is a sad picture indeed.

However, even though how vague the future is and how paranoid we can get, there is always what we call a simple twist of fate. The day will come that all our fears and inhibitions disappear. The sun will shine in all its glory and splendor. The glow of our faces change because the very thing that we fear the most is the very thing that befalls us,that thing my friend is SUCCESS.

God will never give us something that we cannot handle. It's one simple promise that we should dare not forget.

SUCCESS comes to those who wait in God's perfect time.

" This too shall pass.... "

I never noticed the time passing us by,not until I saw the blossoms coming out of the mall trees. Holy week has passed and another Easter has gone. The blossoms are in full bloom and everything is in place for school opening here in Japan. Everyone is trying to enjoy fall but for us strangers in this foreign land all we can do is convince ourselves that life is easier here than home. We look at the brighter side of the equation hoping that loneliness and melancholy won't catch up on us. The promise of a brighter future is holding us hostage and is indeed keeping us from addressing the real predicament which is enjoying and seizing the NOW.

People will never understand the true meaning of home not until they leave the land that they were born in. It is of great importance that people should learn how to appreciate and treasure what they have before they lose the chance of grasping what they already possess. Once the reality of these simple and innocent understanding of life disappears illusions will be the only ones left. Yes,we may be able to enjoy the material things that our delusions can offer but it can never satisfy the innermost core within our souls that longs for the simple happiness that only HOME can provide.

I would love to elaborate on things further but then again time here in this strange land is awfully scarce and there is nothing but postponement I consign to at this very moment at the very least.

The love for my wife and family and most of all my faith in the almighty is what is keeping me from giving up. The bible said.." This too shall pass.."

" CHRISTMAS TREE "

The first Christmas Tree me and my wife owned, sad to say we have to celebrate Christmas in Japan. We almost went through the yuletide season without having a yuletide spirit,i would have to say that it was an act of God when we decided to buy a tree. We almost didn't. Now don't get me wrong,I'm not saying that the tree is all that matters but let's face it the tree plays a big role. But there is nothing much bigger than the story of baby Jesus coming to life during the yuletide season, all the other stuff including the Christmas Tree are just decorations to brighten up the occasion, nevertheless it's not called Christmas Tree for nothing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

" Football:Brazillian Style "

Japan is a very lonely place. In order for a person to overcome homesickness and loneliness, one has to find ways to enjoy himself.I found football, and the best of part of it is I discovered it with the best BRAZIL! VIVA BRAZIL !

ICEMAN now plays football on the side haha, thanks to eduardo, cezar, ricardo and howfie for teaching me how to groove with my feet.
